The AFPNC team and its partners work to give preterm babies and their families a voice in Africa. The more people learn about preterm birth the more prepared they are to embrace the challenges. There are misconceptions formed about preterm and it threatens the survival of many babies especially in rural communities. In view of this, we are focused on adopting and creating awareness tools that are tailored to suit our audience in partnership with stakeholders. We use every proper and acceptable media that has received attention in our generation currently to advocate.

In partnership with stakeholders, we combine conventional and creative means to raise funds to sustain our projects.

We collaborate with interdisciplinary partners worldwide to achieve our common goal. We have established the Preterm Family Network and Neonatal Health Professionals Network to provide the platform for collaborations for an exchange of knowledge to impact positively on our initiatives.
